Why KU?Football's Gettin' Good!
Traveling for football games is also an awesome experience because we're in one of the best football conferences in the country—the Big 12. We take road trips to cheer in some great atmospheres like Nebraska, Texas, and Oklahoma. Then we head off to some sunny bowl in January! But don't take my word for it... 2007 was an incredible year for our football team, finishing 12-1 and ranked #7 after our huge Orange Bowl win in Miami. Our home games have been awesome, often selling out our 51,000-seat stadium and playing on national TV. We play lots of fun night games in September, and game day on "the hill" is a great environment with the tailgating tents and great view of campus. The track we cheer on gives us tons of room to stunt and tumble during the games and timeouts.
