Alex cheered four years at Goddard High School and plans to major in Business.
Honolulu, HI
Brianna cheered for the Kamehameha Schools where she won two UCA national championships.
Topeka, KS
Carlee cheered four years at Washburn Rural High School. She's majoring in Criminal Justice / Psychology and plans to be a criminal prosecutor.
St. Louis, MO
Chandler cheered at Incarnate Word Academy and Cheer Legendz. She is majoring in Chemistry and plans to be a doctor.
Highlands Ranch, CO
Emily graduated from Thunder Ridge High School, where she cheered on the varsity squad for four years, was captain for one year, earned All-State Cheerleader twice, and was also a pole vaulter on the varsity track team. Emily is majoring in Elementary Education and is very excited to be a Jayhawk Cheerleader!
Leawood, KS
Halie attended Blue Valley North where she cheered all 4 years including 3 years on Varsity. Halie earned NCA All American cheerleader honors all 4 years and is an NCA staff member. On the BVN track team, Halie pole vaulted and sprinted, earning 4 varsity letters and she participated in the Kansas Relays and state track championships. Halie was a 10 year competitive cheerleader. As a team member of KC Cheer, Halie enjoyed participating on a Worlds team and earned numerous individual and national championships. Halie plans to major in Education and has dreamed of being a KU cheerleader since she was 3 years old. Go Hawks!
Maize, KS
Jordan was born in Wichita, KS and graduated as valedictorian from Maize High School. Jordan cheered for 3 1/2 years on her school squad earning All-American every year. She also cheered competitively for 9 years, most recently on Cheer Eclipse's Senior Unlimited Co-Ed level 5 squad that competed at Worlds the past 3 years. Jordan plans on majoring in Pharmacy and is super duper excited to be a Jayhawk!

Kaitlin cheered 4 years at Pine Creek High School and plans to major in Elementary Education.

Kathryn cheered for 3 years at Blue Valley West and now plans to major in Applied Behavioral Science with a minor in Psychology.

Kelly cheered two years at Ralston Valley High School and four years for the Cheer Central Suns.
Sabetha, KS
Lauren is a Human Biology major who plans to be a pediatrician. She cheered in high school for two years and at KGDC for one year.

Melissa is majoring in exercise science and plans to be a physician's assistant. She cheered at Blue Valley Northwest in high school for three years and KC Cheer for four years.

Morgan, a psychology major, cheered at Olathe North High School for four years and KC Cheer for one year.
Tulsa, OK
"I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was a competitive gymnast for seven years, competing at Level 9 Nationals. I graduated from Cascia Hall Preparatory School, where I cheered on the varsity squad for three years. I was a member of the cheer squad that won the 2008 State Championship and 2006 and 2007 NCA National Championships. I am very excited to be a Jayhawk!"

Taia, a Marketing major, cheered at Grandview High School, Peak Athletics, Cherry Creek Elite, and Rocky Mountain Elite.

Alex is a pre-med major who played a variety of sports at Derby High. He plans to become a dentist.

Amen-Ra is a Psychology major who played football in high school. This is his second year cheering for KU.

"I was a huge dancer until I found out what cheerleading was all about. I've been highly involved in multiple organizations and will always try anything once. I'm excited for the new year following the tradition of KU cheer and hoping to achieve my full potential. I'm trying to get my Ph. D in physical therapy so school is an important part of my life. Garrett, an Exercise Science/pre-Physical Therapy major, loves being at KU and being a part of one of the best athletic programs in the nation. He cheered at ACE Athletics in high school.

Gavin, a sports science major, cheered at Cheer Eclipse for four years. He plans to become a physical therapist.
Seneca, KS
"Corporal" Jon is an Exercise Science major and reservist in the Marine Corps. His previous sports include football and powerlifting. This is his first year cheering.

Matt is a Mechanical Engineeering major who cheered at Cheer Eclipse and Hutchinson Community College before coming to KU.

Nick has never cheered, but has been tumbling and stunting for awhile. He plans to pursue a medical career.

Sam, whose sister also cheered at KU, was on KU's football team for a couple years before cheering. Sam is finishing up a second degree in Exercise Science and plans to attend Physical Therapy school next year.

Zac is a Human Biology major who has previously wrestled and played football, soccer, and track. This is his first year cheering.
