KU Cheerleading Clinics
The University of Kansas Cheerleaders offer a variety of clinic formats to best suit your needs. All our clinics are taught by experienced KU cheerleaders and coaches, and the clinics are small enough that you'll get plenty of individual instruction. KU Cheer Skills Clinics
Our cheer clinics are targeted toward high schoolers but open to all ages. Taught by the KU cheerleaders and coaches, the clinics focus mainly on coed stunting (though we'll teach all-girl too if you bring your stunt group), some standing and pass tumbling, and some tips for preparing for college tryouts. The cost for each 4-hour clinic is $50 per participant. Our 2012 clinics are:
- Sat. Jan. 28, 12:30-4:30pm in the Horejsi Center (just southwest of Allen Fieldhouse at 1550 Allen Fieldhouse Drive, 66045).
- Sat. April 14, 12:30-4:30pm at Robinson Center (map).
To attend a clinic, simply RSVP by email (Corey@KUcheer.com) then show up to the clinic with your payment and completed Registration form (pdf). We also sell KU cheer t-shirts for $15 (cash or heck to "KAI") at the clinics until we run out of them.
KU Summer Cheer Camps
Our cheerleading camps are open to full squads, partial squads, and individuals from first grade to high school seniors (in separate camps). The KU cheerleaders and coaches teach all-girl stunts, tumbling, cheers, and sidelines in addition to some fun games and activities. Campers stay in air-conditioned Naismith Hall with meals provided. Tentative 2012 summer camp dates are:
- July 16, 2012 1st-3rd grade clinic
- July 15-16, 2012 4th-5th grade overnight camp
- July 17-19, 2012 6th-9th grade camp
- July 20-22, 2012 High School Cheer, Dance, Mascot Camp

Spirit Day
At Spirit Day, participants cheer on the Jayhawks with KU's Cheerleaders and Rock Chalk Dancers inside Memorial Stadium for the first half of a football game. The 2011 Spirit Day was Oct. 1. Check back in summer 2012 for details on the 2012 Spirit Day.
Private Clinics
At KU's private cheer clinics, one or more KU Cheerleaders work one-on-one with your squad. We customize the material to your interests and skill level, and we even teach at your preferred location!
