Jayhawk Kansas Cheerleading

Welcome to the official KU Cheerleading site!

University of Kansas cheerleading coaches I'm Corey Stone, the head cheerleading coach, and pictured with me is my wife and assistant coach Nami and our sons Christopher and Cooper.

KU has a great cheer tradition winning NCA Nationals in 1990 and 1995 (I cheered at KU from 1993-97). Cheering at KU, you'll become part of our 109-year tradition and you'll help make it even better. You'll cheer at Final Fours, bowl games, and UCA nationals, and you'll be part of a squad that supports and encourages each other like family. When you graduate from this program and this university, you'll leave a better cheerleader, a better student, and a better person. I'm trying to build a squad of talented kids who:

  • Continually strive to improve themselves and their surroundings
  • Do the right thing even when no one's looking
  • Believe their cheer squad can affect a game

To learn more about why I believe Kansas University is the best place in the country to cheer, see Why KU? Then check out the Recruits page for a bunch more info.

To schedule the KU cheerleaders for an event, use the Spirit Squad Request (pdf) form.

Our 2007-2008 Skills and Partner Stunt videos are posted.

We performed two routines at KU's Late Night in the Phog in Allen Fieldhouse — see the videos!
